SAIPAN — The CNMI Department of Public Lands has launched a new vessel dedicated to supporting operations on Managaha Island, with the boat set to serve as the primary mode of transportation for DPL’s Managaha Rangers.
In a public update, DPL said the vessel will help ensure rangers can travel to and from Managaha safely and efficiently as they carry out responsibilities tied to conservation, public safety, and stewardship at one of the CNMI’s most visited destinations.
DPL said the investment reflects its focus on strengthening the tools and resources used to protect and manage public lands, calling the new vessel another step forward in improving service to the community.
