CUC schedules water service interruption for portions of Papago on January 15

SAIPAN — The Commonwealth Utilities Corporation has scheduled a water service interruption for portions of Papago on Thursday, January 15, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., to allow a contractor to connect a new waterline as part of the Tangan-Tangan Drive Waterline Replacement Project.

CUC customers in the affected area can expect low to no water pressure during the work window and should allow one to two hours afterward for lines to fully pressurize.

Motorists were advised to slow down, use caution, or take alternate routes while crews are working in the area. CUC said the Tangan-Tangan Drive Waterline Replacement Project is funded by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and is intended to provide more reliable water service in the area.
