SAIPAN — The Commonwealth Utilities Corporation has scheduled a one-hour power service interruption in Chalan Kanoa on Monday, November 24 to allow linemen to replace a wooden power pole with a concrete pole.
CUC said the outage will run from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. and will affect customers within the Chalan Kanoa area outlined in an attached map. Wastewater facilities A-8 and A-10 will be impacted, while no water wells or traffic lights are expected to be affected.
The utility corporation is asking residents and businesses in the affected area to plan accordingly for the short outage as crews work to improve reliability on the system.
