SAIPAN — The Commonwealth Utilities Corporation is advising residents in Sadog Tasi and Puerto Rico that a noticeable sewage odor may be present Friday, February 20, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., as crews activate the Sadog Tasi Wastewater Treatment Plant during startup of the digester aerator unit.
CUC said the odor is tied to a normal operational procedure necessary for proper treatment plant operations and is expected to be temporary, though it may be unpleasant.
