SAIPAN — The Commonwealth Utilities Corporation has announced a scheduled water service interruption for parts of Chalan Kiya on Tuesday, January 20, as crews carry out a new installation.
According to CUC, the interruption is expected to take place from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Customers in the affected areas may experience low to no water pressure during that time.
Areas expected to be impacted include Chalan Kiya (Chalan Kiya Drive), Nguus Drive, Chikita Place, Parapar Place, Bwerh Place, Plata Drive, Tumu Lane, Mikulot Drive, and Kulot Di Rosa Drive. CUC has advised residents to review the attached service map outlining the affected zones.
Motorists are encouraged to reduce speeds and use caution while driving through the area or consider alternate routes during the work period. Once service is restored, customers are advised to allow one to two hours for water lines to fully pressurize.
