PHOTOS: Apatang announces three judicial nominations as Supreme Court vacancy triggers Superior Court reshuffle

SAIPAN — Governor David M. Apatang announced three judicial nominations this morning, naming Superior Court Presiding Judge Roberto Camacho Naraja as his choice for associate justice of the CNMI Supreme Court and forwarding two related Superior Court nominations tied to the vacancy created by the retirement of Associate Justice Perry Borja Inos.

In nomination letters dated February 6, Apatang also nominated Judge Joseph James Norita Camacho to serve as presiding judge of the CNMI Superior Court and nominated Joey Patrick San Nicolas to serve as an associate judge of the Superior Court.

All three nominations require Senate confirmation.
