Saipan — Pacific Islands Club Saipan will temporarily close from March 31 through April 30 for maintenance and repair work, with plans to reopen on May 1 after a month-long round of property upgrades.
PIC Management confirmed the temporary closure will allow the resort to carry out repairs to the pool floor, Point Break, and the property’s large water slides. The work will also include replacement of fascia boards on all three main buildings and at the Siheky pool.
The resort is using the slowdown in tourism as an opportunity to reinvest in the property and complete improvements that can be more easily handled during a softer travel period.
The planned work centers on some of the resort’s most visible guest-use areas, including its signature water features, as PIC Saipan prepares to resume operations at the start of May.
The temporary shutdown is positioned as a maintenance and capital improvement period rather than a permanent closure, with the resort expected to reopen to guests on May 1.
