SAIPAN — The Commonwealth Utilities Corporation announced an emergency water service interruption for Kagman on today, Tuesday, February 24, with service impacts expected from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. as crews work on a mainline leak repair.
CUC said the affected area is Kagman and stated the repair work will be carried out by its contractor, USA Fanter.
Customers in the area may experience low to no water pressure during the scheduled interruption window. CUC also said it may take about one to two hours for water lines to fully pressurize after service is restored.
Motorists were advised to reduce speed and use caution while driving in the area, or use alternate routes while work is underway.
