SAIPAN —Joey Mendiola Colisao continues to impress on the big stage as he posted the top total of the session at 325 kilograms in the 2026 Marianas Weightlifting Open, hosted by CNMI Weightlifting.
On Saturday, Colisao recorded a best snatch of 150 kg and a best clean and jerk of 175 kg to finish first in his weight class.
Other top senior men’s performances included Leowell Cristobal in Senior Men 71, who totaled 257 kg (110 snatch, 147 clean and jerk), and Raymond “Rayray” Santos in Senior Men 60, who totaled 223 kg (103 snatch, 120 clean and jerk).
In the junior divisions, Jaden Andrew won Junior Men 88 with a 230 kg total (100 snatch, 130 clean and jerk), while Lucio Manglona Eugenio took first in Junior Men 110+ with a 223 kg total (100 snatch, 123 clean and jerk).
The men’s session also included youth competition, where Kaizeah Remoket placed first in Youth Men 88 with a 170 kg total (75 snatch, 95 clean and jerk).
In Junior Men 88, Minul Hoque placed second with a 120 kg total (50 snatch, 70 clean and jerk).
Additional first-place finishes in the men’s session included:
- Dave Bryan Odicta, Junior Men 60 — 115 kg total (50 snatch, 65 clean and jerk)
- Charley Fuertez Charlson, Junior Men 110 — 135 kg total (60 snatch, 75 clean and jerk)
