SAIPAN — The Commonwealth Utilities Corporation has scheduled power service interruptions for parts of Gualo Rai and As Perdido on Wednesday, February 25, and Thursday, February 26, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. each day.
CUC said the Wednesday outage will affect Gualo Rai while crews straighten three leaning power poles. The advisory states no water wells, wastewater facilities, or traffic lights will be affected.
CUC said the Thursday outage will affect As Perdido, specifically the Haiguas Lane area, while crews relocate a power pole and primary lines. The advisory also states no water wells, wastewater facilities, or traffic lights will be affected.
Motorists were advised to reduce speed and use caution while driving in the area or taking alternate routes.
CUC said customers can contact its hotline at (670) 236-4333 for more information and Customer Service at (670) 664-4282 in case of emergency. The advisory also directs the public to monitor CUC’s website and social media pages for updates.
