CNMI Innovation Incubator offering free financial literacy workshop February 28 at Ada Gym

SAIPAN — The CNMI Innovation Incubator Program is offering a free Financial Literacy Workshop on Saturday, February 28, from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the NMSA Conference Room at Ada Gym, with organizers opening the session to college students in addition to innovators in the program’s first cohort.

The Incubator said the workshop is part of its strategic business training series and is being offered in collaboration with the Northern Marianas College Center for Training and Innovation. Organizers said the session will cover practical topics including budgeting, cash flow management, forecasting, basic bookkeeping, and funding options such as loans and grants, along with hands-on activities using tools and templates.

Cherese Palacios, program manager, said the workshop is aimed at equipping participants with tools they can carry forward, adding that opening the session to both innovators and college students is intended to encourage smarter money habits and build confidence in managing money early on.

Space is limited and registration is first-come, first-served, with advance registration required. Participants can register at tr.ee/SmartMoneyHabits.
