SAIPAN — CNMI Public School System students earned a 93% overall pass rate on Fall 2025 Certiport Student Certification Exams, with 96 of 103 students who attempted the industry-recognized tests successfully earning certifications.
PSS said students from Marianas High School, Dr. Rita Hocog Inos Junior Senior High School, Tinian Middle School, Tinian High School, Admiral Herbert G. Hopwood Middle School, and Da’ok Academy took certification exams in areas that included IT Specialist (HTML and CSS), IC3 Spark, and IC3 Digital Literacy.
Certiport certifications validate real-world skills in areas such as digital literacy and software competency and are aligned to workforce standards, PSS said, noting the credentials are globally recognized and cover skills tied to computing fundamentals, productivity tools, online communication, and web development.
PSS also described middle school participation this school year as a pilot effort under the district’s K–12 College and Career-Connected System, with Hopwood Middle School and Inos Junior Senior High School reporting strong results that included several groups with 100% pass rates.
PSS said the results reflect growing workforce readiness efforts across CNMI public schools and credited Career and Technical Education teachers and student participation for the performance.
