TINIAN — The Commonwealth Utilities Corporation has announced a scheduled power service interruption on Thursday, February 19, affecting portions of Tinian as crews carry out work related to the Tinian Divert Airfield Project.
According to CUC, the outage is scheduled from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and will impact Feeder 3, including portions of San Jose, Subdivision, Broadway Estates, Marpo Valley, Marpo Heights, and Carolinas Heights. CUC advised residents to refer to the attached service map outlining the affected areas.
CUC said the Maui II Well Pump Station will also be affected during the interruption. The purpose of the outage is to allow power crews to safely de-energize Feeder 3 in support of ongoing project work at the airfield.
