Northern Marianas College to host 6th annual Student Research Symposium on March 13

SAIPAN — Northern Marianas College will host its 6th annual Student Research Symposium on March 13, showcasing interdisciplinary student research projects with a strong focus on STEM-related fields.

The symposium will run from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Royal Taga Ballroom at Saipan World Resort and is cohosted by Northern Marianas College’s Science, Math, Health and Athletics Department and Project PROA.

According to the event announcement, the symposium will feature student research spanning a range of disciplines, including kinesiology, fitness, mental health, data science, food science, and environmental studies. Organizers say the event highlights applied research and academic inquiry while giving students an opportunity to present their work in a professional setting.

The Student Research Symposium has become an annual platform for NMC students to share findings, engage with faculty and peers, and demonstrate how classroom learning connects to real-world challenges facing the CNMI and the region.
