IT&E reports 17-minute outage; CNMI wireless and wireline voice services affected

HARMON, Guam — IT&E said it experienced a service outage at 3:05 p.m. on Feb. 5 that lasted 17 minutes, affecting wireless and wireline voice services for customers in the CNMI.

In a statement, the company said that as of 7:30 p.m., most services had been restored, and IT&E’s team was continuing work to fully normalize services.

IT&E urged customers who continue experiencing problems to report interruptions to the company’s CNMI call center at (670) 682-4483, and said it will share updates with the community as restoration progresses.
