SAIPAN — The CNMI Department of Labor is reminding employers across the government, nonprofit, autonomous, and private sectors to submit their final 2025 Census of Employment (COE) data for calendar year 2025 by January 31, calling the deadline a firm requirement.
DOL said it has identified about 2,400 businesses that still have not met the COE reporting requirement as of today. DOL Secretary Staffler said accurate employment data supports policymaking and measuring the economy, and urged employers to complete submissions online through the department’s website.
The department warned that employers who miss the deadline may face follow-up enforcement actions and could be denied Good Standing Certifications issued by CNMI DOL.
