SAIPAN — Northern Marianas College said Spring 2026 classes will remain on the As Terlaje campus when the term begins Tuesday, Jan. 20, and the college has extended the add/drop period through January 30 to give returning and admitted students more time to register and adjust schedules.
NMC previously announced in November 2025 that classes would be relocated off-site to accommodate ongoing construction and address safety concerns. The college said it is now keeping in-person classes on campus through the start of Spring Break after March 17 following student feedback and changes to the campus construction schedule.
With the return to the As Terlaje campus, NMC said some courses will be rescheduled throughout the day rather than only after 5 p.m., and students should check their Portal+ accounts for updates.
NMC President Galvin Deleon Guerrero, EdD, said the updated plan “will present some challenges,” but leadership believes it is the best option to meet student needs, maximize limited resources, and maintain a unified college experience.
