SAIPAN — Local business owners and managers can get a practical walk-through of common tax and reporting mistakes at an upcoming Lunch & Learn workshop, “Avoiding Common Tax Pitfalls,” focused on compliance issues that can come up when operating in the CNMI with agencies including the IRS, USCIS, USDOL, and FinCEN.
The workshop will be led by Tina Azarvand, Esq., LL.M., Managing Partner of Azarvand Tax Law, and is scheduled for Friday, January 30, from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Casa Marianas at Gold Beach Hotel, next to the MVA office.
Organizers say the session is designed to help businesses stay compliant with both federal and CNMI requirements while avoiding penalties, delays, and unnecessary issues tied to reporting and documentation.
The fee is $25 (includes lunch), and the event is free for current and former ATL clients. Attendance is limited to 60 participants, and registration is available via the QR code on the event flyer.
All attendees will also receive one month of free co-work membership at Casa Marianas (listed as a $20 value), and the event will include raffle prizes from Latte Built, Last Shot Bar, FlyMACS, and Casa Marianas.
