SAIPAN — Rosabelle Surla has been selected to serve as the Lead Collegiate Facilitator for the 2026 National 4-H Conference, marking her second consecutive year on the Facilitator Team.
In her role, Surla will design curriculum, lead key sessions and support delegates from across the country at the national conference.
Surla serves as 4-H Marianas State Youth Council public relations officer and as overall lead camp counselor at Camp Maga’lahi, where she mentors peers and helps organize youth programs.
She has led a roundtable discussion on intergenerational environmental justice at the national level and presented findings to the White House Council on Environmental Quality.
The selection reinforces the CNMI’s ongoing leadership in the national 4-H program. Surla’s responsibilities will include helping to shape the next generation of leaders while highlighting the commitment of 4-H in the Commonwealth.
Her work at Camp Maga’lahi focuses on building skills and confidence for youth through mentorship and program organization.
