NMC: Nursing graduates Rheanie Valle, Ghessa Belnas pass NCLEX-RN

SAIPAN — Northern Marianas College nursing graduates Rheanie Valle and Ghessa Belnas have passed the National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses (NCLEX-RN), NMC announced. Valle is a member of NMC’s Class of 2024, and Belnas is a member of the Class of 2025, according to the college.

NMC President Galvin Deleon Guerrero, EdD, congratulated the two graduates, saying their achievement reflects “hard work, determination, and dedication to serving our community.”

Rosa Aldan, chair of NMC’s nursing department, also congratulated Valle and Belnas, and said the college looks forward to seeing them “join their peers at the bedside as registered nurses and contributing to our local healthcare system.”

Valle said she pursued nursing to help others “in meaningful ways,” including physical and emotional support. Belnas said her motivation came from her family, which inspired her to push through challenges.

Both graduates emphasized study habits and support systems as key to preparing for the NCLEX. Valle credited consistent practice questions, family and friends, and “NCLEX Bootcamp” for helping her build confidence and improve critical thinking. Belnas said she relied on what she retained from the nursing program, her review resources, faith in herself, and support from those around her, adding that she was grateful for guidance from NMC faculty and classmates.

Valle advised future test takers to study consistently, take breaks to avoid burnout, and focus on practice questions while understanding rationales. Belnas encouraged students to identify weaknesses, study them, and believe in themselves.
