SAIPAN — The CNMI Department of Community and Cultural Affairs’ Childcare Development Fund, in partnership with Northern Marianas College, is inviting parents, childcare providers, educators, and policymakers to the 2025 CNMI Childcare Summit: “Quality in Action” on Saturday, November 22, 2025, at Crowne Plaza Resort Saipan from 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. (check-in at 8:00 a.m.).
Built around the theme “Advocacy & Care for Strong Foundations in Childcare,” the one-day event will highlight how quality care supports early learning and development for infants, toddlers, and young children across the CNMI.
The summit will open with a keynote presentation, “Strong Foundations in Childcare: What Defines and Drives Quality,” followed by a panel discussion featuring leaders from the highest-rated CCDF Child Development Centers.
Participants will then join breakout sessions on healthy eating for families, the father’s role in child development, and supporting skilled and qualified providers to deliver quality childcare.
A roundtable discussion on brain development in early childhood education will give attendees a chance to exchange ideas and experiences that shape the quality of care in the Marianas.
The event is open to parents of early learners, childcare providers, educators, policymakers, and early learning advocates. Seating is limited and registration is required at https://forms.gle/cew951FEUqRcDMkK7
