Luta Cares, Inc. is collecting non-perishable food to help NAP recipients on the island of Luta (Rota), calling on the community, in the CNMI and stateside, to donate canned and packaged goods for local families in need. “Together, we care. Together, we feed Luta,” the group said.
The drive is requesting canned goods (meats, vegetables, fruits), pasta, rice and other dry grains, peanut butter and other canned proteins, boxed meals, cereal, bottled water, and juice packs. All donated food should be sealed and within expiration date.
Stateside donors can mail items to:
P.O. Box 1085, Rota MP 96951
Attn: Asiah Ogo
Inter-island donations can be dropped off with Star Marianas, Attn: Asiah Ogo, (670) 783-8170. On Saipan, donations can be dropped off at the Office of Representative Julie Ogo at (670) 287-5882. Luta Cares plans to distribute the collected food on Nov. 22, 2025. More details on distribution will be announced.
