Guam pays out $139 million in 2025 individual tax refunds through twentieth batch

HAGÅTÑA — The Guam Department of Revenue and Taxation, with the Department of Administration, has disbursed its twentieth batch of 2025 individual income tax refunds, bringing the year’s total to $138,975,629.36, the Office of the Governor of Guam announced Wednesday.

The latest batch totals $3,806,181.84 across 1,883 payments: 1,314 paper checks and 569 electronic fund transfers. The disbursements cover tax filings submitted on or before May 17, 2026.

DRT says it continues to process 2025 returns in the order filed, and that turnaround will keep fluctuating between eight and ten weeks due to the surge in return volume. Residents who owe taxes and cannot pay the full amount may contact DRT’s Collection Branch to discuss payment options.
