SAIPAN — Farmers looking for recovery capital after disasters and drought, and would-be farmers with little to no credit history, can learn about USDA loan options at a Farm Service Agency outreach event Wednesday, Aug. 19, from 5 to 6 p.m. at the Joeten-Kiyu Public Library.
The session covers the agency’s farm loan programs, including options for producers who need capital to recover from a disaster or drought and for those looking to start farming without an established credit history.
The agency said it can help farmers explore loan options designed for producers like them. For more information, contact Farm Loan Officer Doreen Rivera at 671-300-8552.
USDA is an equal opportunity provider, employer and lender.
