SAIPAN — The CNMI Department of Labor has extended the deadlines for the Census of Employment, giving employers until July 31 to submit both their first quarter and second quarter 2026 reports due to ongoing Super Typhoon Sinlaku recovery efforts.
The department said the two reports must be completed and submitted separately, with each filing reflecting actual workforce conditions for its specific quarter. Employers should not combine data from both periods into a single form.
Businesses that miss the July 31 deadline may face enforcement action and denial of their Certificate of Good Standing from the department.
Reports are filed online at labor.cnmi.gov by clicking Employers, then Report Census of Employment. Employers with questions or who need help filing can contact the department at (670) 664-3196.
