Guam Veterans Affairs Office to close Asan location June 15 ahead of move to Hagåtña

HAGÅTÑA — The Guam Veterans Affairs Office will permanently close its current office in Asan on Monday, June 15 as the agency relocates to a new facility, the office announced Thursday. GVAO will reopen and resume regular operations on Monday, June 22 at its new office in Hagåtña.

The closure will allow staff to complete the transition of office equipment, records and services in preparation for the reopening.

In-person services will be unavailable during the relocation period. Veterans and their families are encouraged to plan accordingly and complete any time-sensitive business before June 15.

GVAO said the relocation supports its ongoing efforts to enhance services and improve accessibility for Guam’s veteran community, and that the agency remains committed to assisting veterans and their families as they access the services and benefits they have earned.
