SAIPAN — An unidentified object was seen falling from the sky over Saipan on Thursday, appearing to break apart in the atmosphere as residents across the island captured the event on video.
Footage shared with NMI News Service from multiple locations around Saipan shows the object streaking overhead before breaking into pieces.
There is no official confirmation at this time of what the object was or where it came from.
NMI News Service reached out to Homeland Security and Emergency Management. Special Assistant Clement Bermudes said the agency is looking into the incident.
