SAIPAN — Partly cloudy skies with isolated showers continue across Saipan, Tinian and Rota today, with highs around 88 degrees and northeast winds of 10 to 15 mph, according to the National Weather Service in Tiyan, Guam.
The chance of showers holds at 20 percent today and tonight, with overnight lows around 78 degrees and northeast winds easing to around 10 mph after dark. Friday through Saturday brings more of the same, with east winds around 10 mph, highs around 88 and lows around 79.
Saturday night through Wednesday remains partly cloudy with a 20 percent chance of showers, lows in the upper 70s and highs in the upper 80s.
Across Marianas coastal waters, light to gentle east to northeast winds are expected through the weekend with combined seas of 3 to 4 feet persisting. Northeast winds of 5 to 10 knots today shift east by Friday and hold through Monday.
At Tanapag Harbor, today’s low tide of 0.2 feet arrives at 10:33 a.m., followed by a high of 1.7 feet at 5:25 p.m. and a low of 1.2 feet at 9:54 p.m. A high tide of 2.3 feet comes at 3:47 a.m. Friday.
At Tinian, a low of 0.2 feet at 10 a.m. is followed by a high of 1.6 feet at 5:01 p.m. and a low of 0.5 feet at 9:37 p.m., with a high of 2.0 feet at 3:51 a.m. Friday. At Rota, a low of 0.4 feet at 10:17 a.m. precedes a high of 2.0 feet at 5 p.m. and a low of 1.4 feet at 9:54 p.m., with a high of 2.5 feet at 3:50 a.m. Friday.
