SAIPAN — The National Weather Service in Tiyan calls for mostly sunny skies and isolated light showers across Saipan, Tinian and Rota on Monday, with a high near 87 degrees and just a 10 percent chance of rain.
East winds of 10 to 15 mph hold through the day, with overnight lows around 78. Isolated showers return Tuesday as the chance of rain edges back up to 20 percent, and the pattern holds with partly to mostly cloudy skies through midweek.
Forecasters expect the outlook to stay steady into the weekend, with partly cloudy skies, a 20 percent chance of showers, highs in the upper 80s and lows in the upper 70s.
In Marianas coastal waters out to 40 nautical miles, light to gentle east winds and combined seas of 3 to 4 feet are expected, possibly peaking at 4 to 5 feet tonight and Tuesday.
At Tanapag Harbor on Saipan, a low tide of 1.2 feet is expected at 8:27 a.m. Monday, followed by a high tide of 1.5 feet at 12:29 p.m.
