SAIPAN — The National Weather Service in Tiyan calls for mostly sunny skies turning partly cloudy Saturday across Saipan, Tinian and Rota, with isolated showers and a high near 87 degrees.
East winds of 10 to 15 mph will hold through the weekend, with a 20 percent chance of showers each day. Overnight lows will settle around 79 degrees.
The pattern holds steady into next week. Forecasters expect partly cloudy skies with isolated showers Sunday through Friday, highs in the upper 80s and lows in the upper 70s.
In Marianas coastal waters out to 40 nautical miles, light to gentle east winds and combined seas of 3 to 4 feet are expected through the period, with a northeast swell of 3 feet at 8 seconds. Forecasters said any changes to sea conditions will remain minimal.
At Tanapag Harbor on Saipan, a high tide of 1.7 feet is expected at 9:43 a.m. Saturday, followed by a low tide of 0.0 feet at 5:42 p.m.
