SAIPAN — The National Weather Service in Tiyan calls for mostly sunny skies becoming partly cloudy across Saipan, Tinian and Rota on Friday, with isolated showers, east winds of 10 to 15 mph and a high around 87. The chance of showers is 20 percent.
Friday night will be partly cloudy with a low around 79 and a 10 percent chance of showers. The mostly sunny to partly cloudy pattern holds through the weekend, with highs around 87 and isolated afternoon showers on Saturday and Sunday. The outlook from Sunday night through Thursday stays partly cloudy with highs in the upper 80s, lows in the upper 70s and a 10 to 20 percent chance of showers.
On Marianas coastal waters, the Weather Service expects light to gentle east winds and combined seas of 3 to 4 feet through at least the weekend. East winds run 5 to 10 knots.
At Tanapag Harbor on Saipan, Friday tides are a low of 1.7 feet at 5:52 a.m., a high of 1.8 feet at 8:50 a.m., a low of minus 0.1 feet at 5 p.m. and a high of 2.2 feet at 1 a.m. Saturday.
