DFW Asks Public to Report Sea Turtle Strandings, Nesting and Poaching

SAIPAN — The CNMI Division of Fish and Wildlife is asking the public to be on the lookout for sea turtle activity and to report what they see to the agency’s Sea Turtle Conservation Program.

DFW said residents and visitors should report strandings, nesting and hatchings, poaching incidents and turtle tracks on the beach.

Reports can be made to the CNMI Sea Turtle Hotline at (670) 287-8537, to DFW at (670) 664-6000 or to DFW Enforcement at (670) 287-1126. The program can also be reached on Instagram at @cnmi_seaturtles and on Facebook at facebook.com/CNMISTP.
