SAIPAN — A 33-year-old mother of four from Texas drove a U-Haul loaded with donated goods solo for three days and 52 hours from Texas to Washington State to stage the load for shipment to the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands.
Sannie Germinaro works at DHL in Texas, where she lives with her husband Jason and their four children. She volunteered to drive the U-Haul herself.
The goods are bound for individuals in the CNMI.
NMI News Service’s Show Us the Good Out There series highlights people across the Marianas, and the Marianas diaspora, lifting each other up. Submissions can be sent to NMI News Service.
