FEMA Processing Center Technical Difficulties Delay Pending Sinlaku Cases

SAIPAN – The Federal Emergency Management Agency’s National Processing Service Center is experiencing technical difficulties that may delay the review of pending cases at the Survivor Recovery Centers on Saipan, Tinian, and Rota, as well as on DisasterAssistance.gov, the CNMI Joint Information Center said in a 2 p.m. Thursday update.

New applications for federal disaster assistance are not affected and continue to be processed, JIC said.

Sinlaku survivors can call (671) 735-1050 or the FEMA Helpline at 1-800-621-3362, or visit a Survivor Recovery Center, to complete their applications, JIC said.

The Small Business Administration and the American Red Cross remain operational at the Survivor Recovery Center, JIC said.

JIC said it will provide an update once the system is fully restored.
