HAGÅTÑA – The Guam Department of Revenue and Taxation has disbursed the seventh batch of 2025 individual income tax refunds, pushing the year-to-date total past $70 million, the Office of the Governor announced Tuesday.
DRT, working with the Department of Administration, paid out $6,407,811.06 in Batch 7, covering 2,238 payments. Of those, 1,666 were paper checks and 572 were electronic fund transfers. The batch covers tax filings submitted on or before February 19.
The new disbursement brings the 2025 refund total to $70,155,526.58 year to date.
DRT said it continues to process 2025 income tax returns in the order they were filed. Residents who owe taxes and cannot pay the full amount can contact DRT’s Collection Branch to discuss payment options.
Due to a surge in the volume of returns, DRT said turnaround time will continue to fluctuate between eight and 10 weeks.
