IT&E Sets Overnight Network Maintenance for Thursday Into Friday

SAIPAN – IT&E will conduct scheduled network maintenance overnight Thursday into Friday morning, with customers across Guam and the CNMI potentially experiencing a brief service interruption.

The maintenance window runs from 11 p.m. Thursday, May 14, to 4 a.m. Friday, May 15. All IT&E services, including cellular roaming, may be affected.

The expected service interruption is anticipated to last 5 to 10 minutes and is not expected to exceed 30 minutes, between 1 a.m. and 2 a.m. Friday, the company said in a notice to business customers. IT&E said the goal is to keep the actual interruption well under the projected time.

The company’s Network Operations Center will monitor services during the maintenance, with a Network Support Team on standby to address any post-maintenance impact.

Customers experiencing post-maintenance service challenges are asked to call the IT&E Call Center at (670) 682-4483. The company also operates an Online Trouble Ticketing Portal, accessible through the IT&E website, where customers can file and track tickets.

Business customers with questions before the maintenance period are advised to contact their IT&E Business Account Manager.

The notice was signed by Janet T. Aguon, IT&E Enterprise Senior Sales Manager.
