SAIPAN — Multiple shipping containers of donated relief supplies are making their way to the CNMI from Hawaii, Oregon, Washington state and Las Vegas, coordinated by a coalition of local and regional organizations working together through the Sinlaku recovery.
The Northern Marianas Coalition Against Domestic and Sexual Violence announced Saturday that it is actively receiving and organizing donated supplies in coordination with the CNMI Voluntary Organizations Active in Disaster, Ayuda Foundation Guam, the Commonwealth Women’s Association, the Micronesian Climate Change Alliance and the Saipan Humane Society.
As containers arrive, teams are receiving and unloading shipments, sorting and organizing inventory and preparing items for community distribution. Each donation will be reviewed to ensure items are safe and usable, supplies align with community needs and distribution is coordinated and accessible.
Distribution dates and details will be announced once containers have arrived and inventory is fully sorted. Updates will be shared through NMCADSV’s official social media pages as they become available.
