Churches and Samaritan’s Purse to Hold Tarp Distribution Registration in Tanapag and Kagman This Weekend

SAIPAN — A coalition of churches in partnership with Samaritan’s Purse will hold tarp distribution registration events in Tanapag and Kagman this weekend for residents still in need of roofing tarps following Super Typhoon Sinlaku.

In Kagman, registration will be held Saturday and Sunday, May 2 and 3, from 1:30 to 5 p.m. at GCA Kagman, located behind ISA Medical and the PHI Building. In Tanapag, registration will be held Sunday, May 3 only, from 1:30 to 5 p.m. at Hanum Lina’la Assembly-Tanapag. Distribution day details will be provided to registrants at the time of sign-up.

Both events are walk-in only with no drive-through service. Organizers are asking residents to find proper parking before entering to register. Each event is limited to 300 to 500 individuals and is subject to supply availability. Residents who have already received a Samaritan’s Purse tarp are asked to allow others who have not yet received one the opportunity to register first.

The Kagman distribution is organized in partnership with GCA Kagman and partner churches. The Tanapag distribution is organized in partnership with Hanum Lina’la Assembly-Tanapag and partner churches. Both events are supported by Samaritan’s Purse.
