SAIPAN — The CNMI Department of Labor is extending the deadline for submission of the Quarterly Report of Census of Employment, which was originally due April 30, Secretary of Labor Leila Staffler announced Thursday.
No new deadline has been set. Staffler said the department will continue to assess the situation and the progress of community recovery before issuing a formal announcement of a revised submission date.
“The Department recognizes the immense pressure our employers and administrative staff are currently facing,” the announcement said. Employers are encouraged to focus resources on their immediate needs in the meantime.
