SAIPAN — The Commonwealth Utilities Corporation has expanded its water filling station network to six locations across Saipan and increased the vehicle limit to 100 gallons, according to a public advisory issued Thursday evening at 6:30 p.m.
The six stations and their hours are as follows. Capitol Hill Water Filling Station on Capitol Hill Road is open 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. daily. Puerto Rico Water Filling Station on Puetto Road in front of the Eloy S. Inos Peace Park is open 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. daily. Chalan Kanoa Water Filling Station on Doctor Torres Drive in front of William S. Reyes Elementary School is open 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. daily. San Vicente Water Filling Station on Tuturam Drive behind San Vicente Central Park is open 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. daily. Koblerville Water Filling Station on Tinaktak Drive is open 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. daily. Kagman Water Filling Station on Chacha Road across from Santa Soledad Church is open 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. daily.
The boil water notice remains in effect. All water must be boiled for at least three minutes before use or replaced with bottled water. This applies to drinking, making ice, brushing teeth, washing dishes and food preparation.
