SAIPAN — The Commonwealth Utilities Corporation updated its water filling station advisory Tuesday evening, confirming four active stations across Saipan open daily from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. The Boil Water Notice remains in effect.
The Puerto Rico station is located on Puetto Road in front of the Eloy S. Inos Peace Park. The Chalan Kanoa station is on Doctor Torres Drive in front of William S. Reyes Elementary School. The San Vicente station is on Tuturam Drive behind San Vicente Central Park. The Kagman station is on Chacha Road across from Santa Soledad Church.
Each vehicle may receive up to 100 gallons due to limited supply. CUC advises all residents to boil water for at least three minutes before use for drinking, making ice, brushing teeth, washing dishes and food preparation. Bottled water may be used as an alternative.
