Apatang Grants Easter Administrative Leave for CNMI Executive Branch Employees

SAIPAN — Governor David M. Apatang authorized administrative leave for non-essential employees of the Executive Branch beginning at 12:30 p.m. Thursday, April 2, in observance of the Easter season.

The directive, issued as Memorandum GOV2026-220, applies to all Executive Branch departments and activities. Essential employees are not covered by the authorization.

In the memo, Apatang cited Easter as a time of reflection, renewal and reaffirmation of faith, and expressed appreciation for the dedication of the Commonwealth’s public servants.

“May this Easter season bring peace, renewed strength, and blessings to you and your loved ones,” Apatang said.
