Tropical storm watch cancelled for Saipan and Tinian waters, but small craft advisory holds through Sunday
SAIPAN — The tropical storm watch for Saipan and Tinian coastal waters has been cancelled, but the small craft advisory remains in effect until 5 p.m. Sunday, the CNMI Emergency Operations Center said in a special marine advisory issued at 10:30 a.m. Saturday.

Coast Guard sets Port Condition Whiskey as Saipan and Tinian ports reopen
SAIPAN — The U.S. Coast Guard Captain of the Port set Port Heavy Weather Condition Whiskey for the ports of Saipan and Tinian effective 6:30 a.m. Saturday, reopening both ports to commercial traffic and cargo operations.
