Guam releases public draft of “Guåhan 2050 Sustainability Plan,” sets hearings and comment deadline

HAGÅTÑA, Guam — Guam’s Bureau of Statistics and Plans has released the public draft of the Guåhan 2050 Sustainability Plan (G50SP), a 25-year roadmap mandated by Public Law 35-110 that updates the Guam Comprehensive Development Plan around sustainability. The bureau said the draft is guided by five principles—Limits, Balance, Renewal, Equity, and Engagement—and organizes the plan around five goals: Sustainable Communities, a Prosperous Economy, a Thriving Environment, a Vibrant Culture, and Village Sustainability.
