SAIPAN – The CNMI Public School System (PSS) is preparing for a tighter financial year ahead after the Legislature approved a Fiscal Year 2026 budget that allocates $31.8 million for public education, less than what PSS had requested. The measure, House Bill 24-46, now awaits Governor David M. Apatang’s signature.
