Governor Arnold I. Palacios Dies at 69; Acting Governor Apatang Issues Statement
SAIPAN – The people of the Commonwealth woke to the news of the passing of Governor Arnold Indalecio Palacios, a longtime public servant and the sitting governor of the Northern Mariana Islands. He passed away peacefully Wednesday evening, July 23, surrounded by family. He was 69 years old.
